And Yet They Move

The Velodrome — Israel’s first indoor cycling competition center — was established not far from my home, and visiting it had been on my to-do list. The first opportunity arose when I was invited to photograph tandem racing for the Israeli Paralympic Sports Association. I photographed Paralympic tandem cycling, and alongside that, also “regular” cycling competitions.

My tandem photograph, And Yet They Move, was nominated in the International Color Award photography competition.

This was my first opportunity to explore the unique aesthetics offered by the Israeli Velodrome.
